Brakes are the one system you notice only when they stop working properly. We inspect, measure, and tell you honestly how much life is left.
Brake work should start with measurement, not a sales pitch. We measure pad thickness and rotor runout, inspect calipers and hardware, check hose condition, and test brake fluid for moisture content. You get numbers, not adjectives — and photographs of what we saw.
We service disc and drum systems, replace pads and rotors, resurface where it is appropriate and replace where it is not, rebuild or replace calipers and wheel cylinders, repair hard lines and flex hoses, and diagnose ABS faults using factory-level scan data. Parking brake adjustment and cable replacement are included in that work.
If your brakes are fine, we will tell you that too. A large share of the brake inspections we do end with no work sold.
Squealing from the wear indicator, a grinding noise, a pedal that goes soft or pulses, or a longer stop than you are used to. Any of those means it is worth an inspection — grinding in particular means metal on metal and rising cost.
Only if they are below minimum thickness or warped beyond spec. We measure and show you the reading. Plenty of jobs are pads only.
Most manufacturers say every two to three years. Brake fluid absorbs moisture, which lowers its boiling point and corrodes ABS components from the inside.
Tell us what's going on and pick a time. We'll confirm and send a digital inspection when your vehicle's in the shop.
