Steering, suspension, and alignment

Dallas roads are hard on suspension. Worn components cost you tires, fuel, and control long before they make noise.

Suspension wear is gradual, so most drivers adapt to it without noticing. The tell-tales are uneven tire wear, a pull to one side, a steering wheel that sits crooked, clunking over bumps, or a car that keeps moving after you do. We inspect the whole system on a lift, including parts that are easy to skip: sway bar links and bushings, strut mounts, and ball joint play.

We replace shocks and struts, control arms and bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links, wheel bearings, and CV axles and boots. Power steering work covers pumps, racks, hoses, and electric steering diagnosis on newer vehicles.

Alignment follows any suspension work, because new geometry needs new settings. We set camber, caster, and toe to factory specification and give you the before and after printout.

Frequently asked questions

How often do I need an alignment?

Once a year for most drivers, or any time you replace suspension parts, hit a serious pothole, or notice uneven tire wear or a pull.

How long do shocks and struts last?

Typically 50,000 to 100,000 miles depending on roads and load. If the car floats over dips, dives hard under braking, or the tires cup, they are due.
